English Countryside: Photos | The Small Desk

This year I really want to get fit. I want to want to exercise and not think of it as a means to an end. This week I have been swimming, I ran around my local park... twice, and have been on a country walk.

Walking is the exercise I find the least hassle, there's not much kit you have to buy, and it is a more social form of exercise. I've also decided that if I take my camera and make it into more of a photography session I enjoy it far more, plus it has the added benefit of helping me to improve my photography skills. Practice makes perfect! For these photos I used a Nikon Coolpix P300. It is a really good camera, nice and compact but you are still able to manually adjust the aperture and F stops. I hope you like the photos I took and would love to hear of any walks in the UK that you recommend.

  2. I want to want to exercise too! I go to the gym and swimming quite regularly but committing it is SO hard.

It is such a good idea to go out for a run/ walk and take photographs at the same time. It would motivate me. Will take the tip, thanks! :-)
